Today’s Chocolate Sunday post is postponed to honor the lives taken – and the lives given – on September 11th, 2001.
I considered writing a post of my own, but my son, Rob, wrote of his own memories from that day – those of a nine-year-old boy.
NEVER FORGET.

‘At nine years old, I was terrified that life might never re-start’.

What a poignant piece. Thank you for sharing.
How sweet. You should consider posting his work on your blog :)
Thank you, ladies! I’m quite the proud mom.
I agree, Tuere, I should feature more of Rob’s work here. But he does not write fiction. He’s studying journalism and hoping to covers sports (specifically, NASCAR) upon graduation.
